SibJazzFest-2019 presents: issues of the development of jazz music in the modern world will be discussed by leading jazzmen at a round table.
A number of events will be held within the framework of the International Jazz Festival, which will expand the boundaries of the project, including charity events, a thematic photo exhibition and an educational program in addition to concert events in its orbit. An important event for all fans of jazz will also be theoretical understanding of the current situation in the development of this musical direction.
On May the 23rd, on the festival day dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Siberian jazz at the Round Stage of Arnold Kats State Concert Hall at 17 o'clock there will be a Round Table. Theme of the event: “Questions of the development of jazz music in the modern world. Metamorphosis of Siberian Jazz ". Siberian jazz historian Sergey Belichenko, festival artistic director Vladimir Tolkachev, saxophonist, clarinetist, teacher, composer Vladimir Chekasin and jazz columnist and chief editor of Jazz.Ru magazine Kirill Moshkov will mark their opinions on the main problems and tasks in the jazz direction nowadays.
