On 25 May Vladimir Kaluzhsky, the artistic director of Novosibirsk State Philharmonics, celebrated his 75th anniversary. He had been congratulated from all corners of the world – from colleagues, students and fans. On 26 May Vladimir Kaluzhsky was given diplomas from the name of the acting as governor of Novosibirsk region Vladimir Gorodetsky and the mayor of Novosibirsk Anatoly Lokot.

On 15 May the principal guest conductor of Novosibirsk academic symphony orchestra and artistic leader of the ensemble of soloists “Novosibirsk Kamerata” Fabio Mastrangelo was awarded with the order “Stella d’Italia”. The order was given for the contribution into the development of relations and collaboration between Italy and Russia and also for the distribution of Italian culture outside the country. Fabio Mastrangelo received this prestigious governmental republic award on the stage of “Music Hall” from the General Counsellor of Italy.

On April 30 the Mariinsky Theater Symphony orchestra under the direction of Valery Gergiev performed at Arnold Kats State concert hall in the frames of the XIII Moscow Easter Festival.
