On 9th of April Vadim Repin’s Trans-Siberian Art Festival will be opened with the concert with Pinchas Zukerman - legendary musician - a violinist, violist, conductor, 21 times nominated for Grammy. At the concert he will perform as a soloist and as a conductor.

From 9th to 24th of April in Novosibirsk, with the support of the Governor and the Government of the Novosibirsk region Trans-Siberian Art Festival will be held for the third time, its artistic director is a star of the world classical music, a native of Novosibirsk, violinist Vadim Repin. In 2016, the festival will for the first time expand its geography beyond Russia. Along with concerts held in Novosibirsk, there will be several in Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Omsk.

On 5th of April, Vadim Repin, world famous violinist, born in Novosibirsk, artistic director of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival, was a guest of the popular program "Evening Urgant".

On 20th of April Arnold Kats State Concert Hall will hold a recital of Daniil Trifonov – a supernova of world pianism. In his 25 years the musician gives solo concerts on the best stages of the world - in New York, London, Tokyo, Paris and other cities. His recorded CD was nominated for Grammy.

On 10th of April concert of "Faces of Shakespeare" will be held at the Philharmonic Chamber Hall. The program will combine artistic expression with sounds of organ, oboe and countertenor - a unique, highest male voice. Music and drama project is included in the program of Vadim Repin’s Trans-Siberian Art Festival.

Yesterday Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra celebrated its anniversary with a great festive concert "60 Years of Triumph". In the end Dmitri Masleev, laureate of the recent International Competition named after Tchaikovsky performed. The orchestra conducted by its artistic director and chief conductor Gintaras Rinkevicius performed works of the classical repertoire. In the end of the concert orchestra surprised the audience, performing the final part of Overture to the Opera “Wilhelm Tell” by Rossini not on the instruments, but as a choir a capella.

Today Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra celebrates its anniversary with a great festive concert "60 Years of Triumph". The orchestra conducted by its artistic director and chief conductor Gintaras Rinkevicius will perform with pianist Dmitri Masleev, winner of the recent International Competition named after Tchaikovsky. The anniversary will be marked not with the concert only: yesterday in Arnold Kats State concert Hall orchestra’s history photo exhibition was presented and it will be available to concerts’ listeners during the month. Since Monday all subway stations of Novosibirsk began to sound recording of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra. In June the collective will give a big concert in the place where was the first in its history concert - in the city Novoaltaysk of Altai Region. On 28th of March a ceremonial meeting of orchestra collective was held, where all musicians were presented with letters of gratitude and certificates of appreciation of the authorities of all levels.
