Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra will tour to China at the end of December 2023

Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra is preparing for a tour to China. The tour will take place from December 27, 2023 to January 5, 2024 in three cities of the People's Republic of China. On December 29 and 30, the concert programs of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra will be presented to the public in Nanjing. On December 31 and January 1, the famous Novosibirsk orchestra will perform in Qingdao. The tour will end with a concert in the capital of China, Beijing, on January 3.
The program includes music by Russian classics Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky, Glinka and the piano concerto “Yellow River” by Chinese composer Xian Xinghai.
In Chinese tour the renowned Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra will perform under the baton of the outstanding Chinese conductor and percussionist Li Biao, with whom the orchestra has been already collaborated on numerous occasions both on the home stage and on tour.
