On March 23, an exclusive concert of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival was held in the department of the Novosibirsk factory HC JSC “NEVZ-Soyuz ". Stars of the world performing art Vadim Repin and Alexander Buzlov, as well as young musicians and the octet of soloists of Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra conducted by Alim Shakhmametiev performed for the partners and friends of the festival who are supporting classical arts. At the concert the pre-premiere of Daniel Schnyder's "iGeneration" was performed, the genre of which the author defined as Concerto Grosso for violin, cello and two young solo violinists. The official world premiere of the composition took place the next day, March 24, at a concert of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival "Children play for Children".

The concert gathered an audience of about 250 people, including employees of the company, representatives of government and business, partners and friends of the factory and the Trans-Siberian Art Festival, supporting classical art. With their support, the projects of the educational direction of the festival program are being implemented, taking place on the stage of the House of Culture "Energia" Among them there is a program of master classes of world music stars “Communicate with a Star Simply!", a program of master classes "The School of Masters", and an innovation of this festival year - Academy of Art Journalism, which gathered leading experts and more than 70 participants in Novosibirsk from the whole country.

“Two years ago we met a wonderful team of Vadim Repin, who is organizing a festival today, which is a world event", said Victor Medvedko, general director of JSC “NEVZ-Soyuz” in a welcome speech. "We saw people who do not just perform on stage, but also think about how to make music bring up people so that professionals can pass on their experience to talented children living in our region, in neighboring areas. Yes, these children cannot always go to the master classes in Holland, in the US, in France. And now the world stars come to them themselves, and at their master classes we have full halls - they are listened to by young musicians, teachers of the conservatory and music schools, and just music lovers, people come deliberately from other cities”.

The general director of the factory emphasized that the participants of the master classes learn from the world-class professionals for free: this is possible thanks to the support of the Vadim Repin Foundation, the participation of HC JSC “NEVZ-Soyuz” and the companies whose representatives were in the hall.

Vadim Repin noted in his welcoming speech that this unusual concert, on one hand, is a small report on the work of the educational direction of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival in previous years - as young performers who participated in festival master classes perform on stage together with famous musicians. "On the other hand, I see that the educational direction is becoming monumental, so it seems logical for me to express my gratitude to those people who contributed a part of their soul to this project," said the artistic director of the festival. "There are a lot of them, believe me, it takes much more than one person to develop the project to this level and scale".

On the improvised stage set in the factory department, the world's performing arts stars Vadim Repin (violin) and Alexander Buzlov (cello), students of the Zakhar Brohn School of Music (Zurich) violinist Ilva Eigus and Sophie Branson, a student of Novosibirsk College of Music Vitaly Bogomolov (tenor), students of Novosibirsk Special Music School Albina Khaibullina (violin) and Eva Medvedko (piano), student of Kemerovo Regional Music College Evgeny Mikhailov (piano), musicians of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Ilya Tarasenko (alt) and Lev Terskov (piano), concertmaster of the Novosibirsk College of Music Inna Kuida (piano) and octet of soloists of Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra conducted by Alim Shakhmametiev performed in front of the public.

Along with the pre-premiere of the Concerto Grosso by Daniel Schnyder "iGeneration", the program of the concert included works by Sergei Prokofiev, Igor Stravinsky, Giacomo Puccini, Francesco Paolo Tosti and Robert Schumann.

The second year on the basis of the House of Culture "Energia" master classes of the educational project "Communicate with the Star Simply" take place, where outstanding musicians with great pleasure share with the beginning musicians their experience and professional techniques. This year the project includes about 20 master-classes of world music stars, where young musicians from Novosibirsk, Barnaul, Kemerovo, Moscow and Italy take part.

During the festival a year ago, two dozen creative meetings and master classes of the festival stars were held for 2.5 weeks, about 3000 people visited these events. Among them are music lovers, as well as teachers and students of more than 50 educational and creative institutions not only in Novosibirsk and the region, but also in the cities of the Siberian Federal District and the near abroad.

In addition, within the framework of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival, during the 2017-2018 season, the International Educational Project "School of Masters" is being implemented. Famous teachers Dmitry Bashkirov, Boris Garlitsky, Ruben Lisitsian, Pablo Ferrandes during a series of meetings shared the secrets of their skills with students. In March 2018 the Trans-Siberian Art Festival in cooperation with the newspaper "Musical Review" and the House of Culture "Energia" launched the Academy of Art Journalism, which has already shown its relevance and importance.

The concerts of the fifth Trans-Siberian Art Festival, headed by Vadim Repin, will be held from March to July 2018. The festival program in Novosibirsk will end of 2nd April, though the Russian part of the Festival will last to May 13 and will include Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Samara in its route. The key point in the geography of the festival is Novosibirsk - the hometown of the artistic director of the project. One of the key participants in the project is Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra. Vadim Repin repeatedly stressed the decisive role played by the collective in implementing the idea of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival. The main venue of the festival always remains the Arnold Kats State Concert Hall - the new Philharmonic Hall opened in 2013 and, according to Vadim Repin, has become one of the necessary conditions for the implementation of the idea of the festival.
