Spring is the festival time

Novosibirsk Philharmonic often presents to listeners concert programs with the participation of the world-famous performers. Musicians, who have conquered Europe, America and Asia, performs at concert venues of Philharmonic solo and together with public’s favorite collectives such as Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, Novosibirsk Kamerata, Siberian Dixieland and others.

The brightest stars and the most ambitious projects can be seen on Novosibirsk Philharmonic stage in festival programs. This spring prepares to Novosibirsk citizens two festivals at once which will gather famous musicians in our city.

From March 21 to April 13 Arnold Kats State Concert Hall and concert venues of Novosibirsk region will host the VI Trans-Siberian Art Festival. The forum will feature performances of such renowned musicians as Konstantin Lifschitz, Tugan Sokhiev, Dmitry Yurovsky, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Charles Dutoit and other celebrities; discover new names and rising stars like Daniel Lozakovich; and, of course, enjoy the mastery of Vadim Repin – the Festival’s founder.

From May 21 to 28 Novosibirsk will face another high-profile project – SibJazFest-2019. Honored Artist of Russia Vladimir Tolkachev is the artistic director of the jazz festival. The project program is composed of performances by outstanding jazzmen. Philharmonic listeners are waiting for concerts with Ken Peplowski (saxophone), Leonid Chizhik (piano), Petras Geniušas (piano), Karina Kozhevnikova (vocal), Evgeny Pobozhy (guitar) and many others. In the best traditions of European projects each festival day will include performances of two bands and a jam session.
