On 14-18 February, the III Festival of orchestras of folk instruments "Strings of Siberia" will take place in Novosibirsk.
The main task of the festival is to unite musicians from different cities of the Siberian region on one stage, to give them the opportunity to communicate with listeners and with each other. The teams will exchange their creative experience and demonstrate the wide possibilities of folk instruments.

The festival was initiated by the Orchestra of Russian folk instruments, the oldest professional collective of Novosibirsk with a 90-year history. And his artistic director, People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Gusev.
