Music of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra will be performed in Novosibirsk

On 2 March a rarity spiritual program will be premiered in the Philharmonic Chamber Hall by the ensemble «Markell’s voices». It will be an authentic reconstruction of «All-night Vigil» by singing of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, one of the first monasteries in Kiev Russia.
“Our choice is not random; we would like the audience, eyes closed, to be immersed in the world of authentic spiritual music. We specially consulted with Novosibirsk priest father Dmitry to avoid pieces that cannot be performed in a temporal concert«, — Igor Tyuvaev, artistic director and conductor of the ensemble “Markell’s voices» said.
While preparing the premiere the artists used the score edition of 1887.
