"I am happy that in Siberia there is such a musical hearth, such people who love music, love each other very much, and without love nothing can be done at all. Therefore, for me to be here is a great happiness", Vladimir Fedoseyev said. "The orchestra is so sensitive, it obeys so much! To discipline everything together - this happens infrequently".
The conductor said that Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra has never performed before the First Symphony of Weber which he proposed for the concert program and noted that he was very pleased with the work with the collective.
The conductor admitted that offering a completely new work for the concert program for the collective is a certain risk. "But I knew about the orchestra, I heard a lot about it and listened to the recordings, so I risked little", Vladimir Fedoseyev said.
"For me the presence here is a great joy, and I will bring this joy with me to Moscow, I'll tell our Tchaikovsky orchestra how things are going on here, and we'll take an example from you", the maestro said.
