On 29th of November in the Philharmonic Chamber Hall will be held a concert dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Union of Composers. Music of Siberian composers will be performed by Novosibirsk orchestra of Russian folk instruments conducted by Vladimir Gusev and Rustam Dilmukhametov. Also will be performed Symphony №6 by Askold Murow who’s one of the founders of the Siberian school of composition, his friendly and creative relations tied him with Dmitri Shostakovich.

On Friday, 2nd of December, the International Festival "Classics” will be opened in Novosibirsk. Its program includes performance of Ilze Liepa and stars of Russian ballet, concert of chamber orchestra Musica Viva conducted by Alexander Rudin, and other programs with the participation of both foreign and domestic musicians.

On 6th of December in the Philharmonic Chamber Hall the concert of Jevgenija Lisicina will be held. The organist of the largest Riga Cathedral will present a solo program in the frameworks of the festival “Classic”, in which her own setting of the famous concert "Winter" from Vivaldi's cycle "The Seasons” will sound.

On 7^th of December the sonatas by the most mysterious Russian composer Alexander Scriabin will be performed in the program of the international festival "Classics". The music of composer-mystic will be presented by Estonian pianist Tanel Joamets. The concert will take place at the most unusual Philharmonic’s concert venue - in the foyer of Arnold Kats State Concert Hall.

On 2nd of December Novosibirsk Philharmonic International Festival "Classics" will be opened with the concert of trumpeter of Mariinsky Theatre Timur Martynov and Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra. The conductor will be Valentin Uryupin - assistant of Valery Gergiev and Teodor Currentzis, winner of the prestigious conductor's contest named after Mahler. Two Novosibirsk premieres will sound in the performance of musicians.

On 4^th of December the most unusual project of the International music festival "Classics" will be held - Latvian group DAGAMBA will present the program "Vivaldi Rock", where the audience will hear the music from the iconic "Star Wars", "Game of Thrones" as well as original arrangements of classical compositions. Novosibirsk Philharmonic Ensemble "Markell’s Voices" will come to the stage together with the guests of the festival.

On 18^th and 19^th of November Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the ballet music of Igor Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring." The world premiere took place in Paris and entered the history of art as one of the biggest scandals. In Novosibirsk music from ballet will be conducted by Gintaras Rinkevicius.

On 8th of December Novosibirsk Philharmonic International Festival "Classics" will be finished with a concert of Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Musica Viva conducted by Alexander Rudin. The unique musician this evening is not only raised over the conductor's desk, but also act as a soloist, and in one composition he will play the cello, in the other - on the piano.
