On 25 December a concert dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Society will take place on the stage of the Palace of culture of Railway station. This evening Vadim Repin, a world-known violinist, born in Novosibirsk, will appear on the stage with Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra.

Russian Academic Orchestra toured from 21 to 27 November, 2012: two concerts in Krasnoyarsk and one concert in Irkutsk took pace. The soloist of Novosibirsk philharmonic society Ekaterina Marzoeva (mezzo-soprano) and the soloist of Novosibirsk opera and ballet theatre Sergey Kuzmin (tenor) participated in these concerts together with the orchestra.

The international jazz festival Sib Jazz Fest ended by a five hours concert on 17 November. The final point of the festival concert program was a united performance of two largest jazz ensembles – Novosibirsk Big Band under the direction of Vladimir Tolkachev and Anatoly Kroll Big Band from Moscow.

But for us it started yesterday: the headliner of the Festival John McLaughlin arrived at Novosibirsk in the evening. Earlier arrived Tricia Boutte who has already participated at the press-conference of the opening and rehearsed with “Siberian Dixieland”.
