Born in Novosibirsk in 1954.
Graduated from the choir-conductor's faculty of the Novosibirsk State Conservatoire named after M.I. Glinka (class of professor V.B. Serebrovsky).
From 1974 conducted vocal ensembles of amateurs, worked as a choirmaster of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet theatre, was teaching in the musical school in Novosibirsk.
1975–1980 — singer-choirmaster of the chamber choir of amateurs of the Novosibirsk department of the All-Russian choir union (director — B.Pevzner).
From 1981 — singer-choirmaster, conductor of the Chamber choir of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society (director — B.Pevzner).
Since 1986 — Artistic director and chief conductor of the Chamber choir of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society.
