Today, March 30, in Arnold Kats State Concert Hall in Novosibirsk, the Mass in B minor by Johann Sebastian Bach will sound, followed by the title "The Great Mass." The monumental score, crowning the creative path of one of the greatest composers in the history of mankind, will be performed under the baton of the conductor Ilia Krol (Austria) performed by soprano Marie-Sophie Pollak (Germany), mezzo-soprano Catriona Morison (Great Britain), tenor Jan Petryka (Poland) bass Yasushi Hirano (Japan), Novosibirsk Choir Chapel and Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra. The organ will be performed by Jeremy Joseph (South Africa), wind instrument parties - Austrian musicians Hermann Ebner (horn), Sebastian Frese and Josef Bednarik (oboe).

The Novosibirsk Philharmonic opened the sale of tickets for concerts of one of the main cultural events of the upcoming 2018: from March 9 in Novosibirsk there will be concerts of the Vth Trans-Siberian Art Festival. The project, initiated and inspired by the world-famous violinist, native of Novosibirsk Vadim Repin will gather the stars of world performing art in Novosibirsk for the fifth time.

On 3rd of April in Novosibirsk Trans-Siberian Art Festival was finished with a concert by Vadim Repin, Alexander Buzlov and Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Gintaras Rinkevicius. For 20 days the events of the festival - concerts and master classes - were attended by about 17 thousand people. Another 6 thousand people watched the online broadcast of the concerts of the festival. For the first time in the history of the project, tickets for most concerts were sold out long before the start of the festival.

On 31st of March, Johann Sebastian Bach's "Passion for John" will be performed on the stage of Arnold Kats State Concert Hall. A story about the latest events of Christ's earthly life will be sounded by Ilia Korol, an expert in authentic performance. The international team of singers will take part in the performance. The concert will be held within the framework of Vadim Repin’s Trans-Siberian Art Festival.

The fourth Vadim Repin’s Trans-Siberian Art Festival will be opened in Novosibirsk on March 15th and will last until April 3rd. Its first concert will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Novosibirsk State Philharmonic, which has been a key partner of the project since the first year of its existence. The largest international forum of the country will unite 15 concerts with participation of world stars in Novosibirsk and the cities of the region. The average price of tickets for the festival in 2017 was almost twice lower than the prices of the previous festival. At the moment, tickets for most of the festival's concerts are sold out.

Vadim Repin’s Fourth Trans-Siberian Art Festival will be held in Novosibirsk for the fourth time from 15th of March to 3rd of April. In 2017 the festival will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Novosibirsk region. Some concerts are also devoted to the 80th anniversary of Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Society and the 60th anniversary of Novosibirsk State Conservatory. At the moment the sales of tickets for the festival program reached 60% - this is the highest percentage of implementation yet a month before in the history of Trans-Siberian Art Festival.

Novosibirsk Philharmonic opened its 80th concert season with the performing of monumental cantata by Carl Orff "Carmina Burana" on 8th of September. In the evening of season opening a new Philharmonic collective – Novosibirsk Choir Chapel conducted by Igor Yudin came to the stage of Arnold Kats State Concert Hall for the first time. The opening of the season was held at the crowded hall, at the end the audience applauded the musicians standing.
