About
The orchestra was created in 1993 by the initiative of Arnold Kats. The musicians of the wind group of the symphony orchestra composed it.The repertoire of the orchestra includes popular classical compositions, pieces for brass bands, pop and jazz miniatures as well as large symphonic works, written specially for brass bands and instrumental pieces.
Artistic cooperation with modern composers enriches possibilities of the brass band in searching of repertoire.
Musicians experiment much; perform together with chamber orchestras, choir, Big Band, vocal ensembles. As a result the pop-symphonic orchestra was created (together with the ensemble of soloists Novosibirsk Kamerata).
Another artistic direction of the orchestra is a fruitful cooperation with famous singers of our city soloists of the Novosibirsk state academic opera and ballet theatre, the Novosibirsk theatre of musical comedy.
