Victor Ivanov
Born in Kursk in 1957.
In 1981 he graduated from Moscow conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky (faculty of military conductors, class of V. Gruy, V. Dulsky).
Conductor, arranger, composers. 1981- 1993 he served in the Armed Forces as a conductor of military bands. The orchestras under his leadership took prizes many times at the festivals of different ranks.
1993-2001 — leader of the Ensemble of Song and Dance of Siberian military district in Novosibirsk.
Since 2001 — artistic director of the Ensemble «Guards» of Novosibirsk Philharmonic.
Since 2008 — founder and artistic director of Novosibirsk philharmonic Variety orchestra. — Winner of the All-Russian contest of military conductors — Honored Artist of Russia (1996)
