Pavel Daskin began learning to play the cello at the age of 6 years in Music school №1 in Novosibirsk in the class of teacher Shilkaitis N.M. In 2002 he entered the Novosibirsk Music College named after Murov in the class of the teacher Girunyan N.O. In 2006 he entered Novosibirsk State Conservatory (Academy) named after Glinka in the class of Professor, Honored Artist of Russia E.Z. Nilov. In 2012 he graduated from the magistracy in his class. In 2014 Pavel entered the assistant internship at Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after Glinka to the class of Professor, Honored Artist of Russia Minasyan V.M, where he’s studying at the present time.
During the years of studying at the Conservatory Pavel became a laureate of different contests, such as:
2007 - Open regional competition named after. E. Kats (Barnaul) – 1st place;
2008 - International competition "Art of the XXI Century" (Prague, Czech Republic) – 1st place;
2009 - International competition "Art of the XXI century" (Italy, Lonigo) – 1st place;
2010 - Open regional competition named after E. Kats (Barnaul) - Grand Prix;
2011 - International competition "Libertango" (Barnaul) – 1st place;
2012 - International competition "Musical Vladivostok" (Vladivostok) – 2nd place.
In addition to taking the assistant training, Pavel is a teacher in cello class at Novosibirsk Music College named after Murov and in college of Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after Glinka, where he is also a teacher in the class of chamber ensemble.
The cellist regularly gives solo concerts as well as concerts with orchestras in Novosibirsk and other cities of Siberia. Pavel repeatedly performed in the trio with Honored Worker of Art of Russia, Professor Marina Kuzina and laureate of international competitions Dmitry Karpov. In 2012 he performed in a duet with the famous cellist Denis Shapovalov.
Since 2015 Pavel Daskin has been a soloist of Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Society.
