Dmitry Karpov

Dmitry Karpov was born in 1976 in Kemerovo.
In 1999 he has finished the piano course at Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after M.I. Glinka (the class of professor M.S. Lebenzone). In the years of his studies he brightly announced himself becoming a laureate of two competitions: the Contest of Siberia and the Far East (1990) and Novosibirsk State Conservatory Competition (1995).
Since 1999 he has been a soloist of Novosibirsk Philharmonic. Being an excellent accompanist he actively participates in various musical projects. As a soloist he repeatedly performed with ensembles, symphony and chamber orchestras, toured in Germany and China.
Dmitry has recorded three compact discs. He is the author of a number of transcriptions.
